Jewelry Care

 

Each Piranha Goods piece has traveled through time and across continents to reach you. A little attention will allow it to continue its journey for a long time.

 

Daily Care
Designed for everyday wear, your jewelry doesn't require extensive care. A soft, dry cloth is sufficient to restore the luster of pearls and silver.

Avoid household cleaning products, vinegar, alcohol, and any chemical products. Also, limit contact with cosmetics.

Water
Your jewelry can withstand showering. However, avoid prolonged immersion: some pearls and stones are porous and can deteriorate over time.

Silver
Silver naturally oxidizes, especially in tropical climates. A soft cloth usually resolves the issue. For more significant oxidation, a little sodium percarbonate will do the trick.

Storage
Your jewelry comes in an airtight kraft pouch; keep it. Ideally, store them away from open air, especially in the Caribbean where sea spray accelerates oxidation.
